ABOUT US

Bid4Impact is a brand established by multi-award winning, millennial philanthropist, activist and entrepreneur TeQuion Brookins in 2022. After nearly 10 years in operations at a historic grantmaking foundation serving Detroit, MI, she decided to leverage her technical background and deep sector-knowledge to address the undefined procurement process that hinders minority entrepreneurs & nonprofit leaders' access to philanthropic spending.

Fueled by the growing interest among grantmakers across the country to mobilize their endowments beyond annual payout requirements, Bid4Impact aims to connect foundations with overlooked businesses while simplifying the purchasing process for staff.

OUR VISION

A society where Black & Brown-led organizations are fully included in the economy.

OUR APPROACH

We provide foundations and nonprofits with tools and resources to assist in establishing a well-defined procurement process. Corporations, government agencies and municipalities have long enjoyed the benefits of sleek portals and software that assist in achieving their supplier diversity initiatives and more. However the foundation sector has lagged in adopting a uniform approach to procuring goods and services, often relying solely on word of mouth referrals. Not only does this place strain on foundation staff when the requested services are new or unconventional, it creates barriers to access for minority-led businesses & resource-strained nonprofits who are otherwise equipped and eager to serve them.

We eliminate the antiquated practices of "relationship-buying" and even the playing field by bringing diverse vendors and suppliers representing all industries together with foundations needing goods and services to operate.

Bid4Impact is a revolutionary yet simple solution to a longstanding yet unspoken supply chain issue within philanthropy. Join today and help us catalyze change in the for impact sector.
